Aquarius exhibited at the latest Network Rail Plant Show at Westwood on April 6th. All enjoyed the sunshine and it was great to meet up again with colleagues and customers. Aquarius showcased 2 recent RRV conversions, the Weld Rover 3, and the Frost Rover, demonstrating Aquarius’ flexible fleet of RRV’s.
Each RRV has been custom built in Aquarius’ workshop in Yorkshire. After listening to customer feedback, the Weld Rover 3 improves on previous versions, giving more storage and easier access to welding equipment.
The Frost Rover was a new addition to Aquarius’ fleet in Winter 2010. This RRV was hailed a success when it was trialed on the Wessex line to deal with the ice on the third rail. Aquarius’ Managing Director James Platt said “We enjoy meeting the challenges of our customers requirements, creating bespoke solutions, in this ever demanding climate for value for money and multi use RRV’s.”
