Aquarius began in 1999 with the import of it's first Land Rover road/rail conversion from Aries, a specialist in road rail conversions. The choice was a good one for adaptability and versatility. From then the fleet has built up to 14 Land Rover Defenders of various types to service the specialist rail market.

The Land Rovers quickly won favour for superior design over what the market was used to. As the various types of work expanded Aquarius' horizons they looked for other ways to help with rail infrastructure work. Thus the Fan Rover was born, an easy to use problem solving product which again quickly won favour in the stressful world of rail renewals. Soon after this the Rail Canter was developed to further improve renewals efficency. The Rail Mule provides a small easy to use  RRV with the option of multiple trailer towing.

The company continues to build on these niche products and will grow in the same way with another problem solving product.
